## Personal Acquisition Checks

Starting influence for characters is 50% of House Profit Factor

Can be increased at a rate of

• 5 For all Players per one Profit Factor Spent

• 10 For one player per one Profit Factor Spent

A players Influence can never be more than the Houses Profit Factor

If the House Profit Factor ever drops lower than a players Influence then all extra Influence above House Profit Factor is immediately lost.

Influence cannot be traded back to the House Profit Factor.

Influence can be used to source items for individual use only, and never for more than one item at a time.

The check is based on a standard acquisition check structure, including opposed commerce check, along with any modifiers for scarcity and quality.

Influence is decreased by the tens value of the modifier regardless of success or failure as resource are used trying to acquire the item. So an item with a modifier of -30, will lower the characters influence by 3. To a minimum of 1 deducted.

**HIRING HELP PART 1**

Players can hire support based on the following basis

• Characters Influence must be higher than the support characters EXP / 200

i.e. If the character has 8000 Exp spent then the player must have 40 Influence

• Cost to recruit the support character is EXP / 1000 per session

i.e. If the character has 8000 Exp spent then the cost is 8 Influence per session

**HIRING HELP PART 2**

Players can hire support based on the following basis

• House Profit Factor must be higher than the support characters EXP / 500

i.e. If the character has 8000 Exp spent then the house must have 16 Profit Factor

• Cost to recruit the support character is EXP / 2000 for a 10 Year Period

i.e. If the character has 8000 Exp spent then the cost is 4 Profit Factor

**HIRING HELP PART 3**

Players can hire support based on the following basis

• House Profit Factor must be higher than the support characters Relevant Skill / 2

i.e. An Pilots Flier skill is 60 then the house must have 30 Profit Factor

• Cost to recruit the support character is Skill / 20 for a 10 Year Period

i.e. If the character has 60 Skill Rating then the cost is 3 Profit Factor
